The large-scale operation aimed at the suppression of the illegal production facilities of the chemical products was conducted by the criminal police. The manufacturing of fake goods under popular brands has been organized by 3 individuals that have been illegally operating in Nizhny Novgorod city since 2021.
As a result of the raid actions at the personal apartments, warehouses and illicit facilities, more than 100 thousand counterfeit units (amounted to more than 5 mln. rubles) as well as the production elements (empty bottles, labels, equipment, packages) were seized by the police.
The criminal proceeding under Art.180 Part 3 of the Criminal Code was initiated. All the infringers are under the house arrest.
The conducted suppression has been reported by the official channel of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
